Price Comparison Feeds: Simple price comparison integration has been a valuable string to Ballyhoo Commerce’s bow for some years now. The feeds used to power these integrations have now been vastly improved to use Google Analytics URLs which will give the site owner a much bigger range of information about visits to their website. A shopping feed for Become.com has also been introduced and the feed for Shopzilla can now be automatically collected.
Manufacturer Search Results: Customers using the auto-complete search facility in Ballyhoo Commerce will now also be presented with the names of manufacturers in stock on the site to better help them narrow their product selection and increase the speed with which they can do this.
Saved Orders: Vendors can now specify how long they wish saved orders to be valid for. Automated reminder emails will also be sent to customers at set intervals, e.g. 30 days/7 days/1 day left, to remind them that their saved order is due to expire, keeping them conscious that they only have a limited time left to resume their order without a potential increase in cost.
A number of bug fixes and minor improvements have also been made to the system to improve performance and reliability.
