For those of you interested in learning Haitian Creole, HavServe will offer Group Classes for Beginner Haitian Creole weekly, every Thursday from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm. Group Classes are a great way to learn a language in a small setting with other learners every Thursday afternoon in convenient downtown D.C. Here is some more info: Beginner Haitian Creole classes is for people with little to no prior experience in the language. The goals of this class is to get the basics of the language down, such as: Pronunciation Greetings and Introductions Numbers Days of the week, months in a year, seasons Telling time Articles, nouns, pronouns, adjectives Present tense verbs By the end of the class, participants should be able to use questions and answers for simple topics for travel, work or leisure.
