Mini Make Day 2 will bring together makers from all over Melbourne to share their inventions, talents and discoveries. This is an opportunity to come and get hands on with 3D printing, robotics, electronics, meet other makers, take part in demos and discover the latest creations coming out of the maker scene. On the day you will be able to meet up with makers from all over including – Community Connected Hacker Space Geek Girl Academy Footscray Maker Lab Make-Create XYZ Technologies Node Bots Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Hackers Robots are coming Ballarat Hackerspace and many more…. With a selection of technology workshops such as : 3D scanning and mesh work – Learn to make your own action figue Wearables workshop – Build your own programable electronics Learn how to solder Children's workshops and may more… And Keynote speakers talking about the technology, maker culture and the City of Melbourne. Join us at Library at The Dock for the second Melbourne Library Service Mini Make Day. Come and get hands-on with 3D Printing, robotics and electronics, meet other Makers, take part in practical demonstrations, and hear about some of the latest creations coming out of Melbourne's maker scene. Its show and tell for young and old! Library at The Dock Makerspace is a place for you to come, get advice and meet other makers. Discover what’s on offer and become part of the creation generation! This event is suitable for anyone who wants to get involved in the maker scene or simply to find out what all the fuss is about.
